The Return of the 2 Ingredient Cake REMIX (literally)

Back in March 2021 I did a post on the 2 ingredient cake. I used Fanta soda pop and white cake mix. I'm back again and this time I'm using Faygo strawberry soda and Duncan Hines strawberry cake mix. Actually 2 ingredient cake is a misnomer. There are the three eggs🥚🥚🥚  and the oil🧴  also necessary. Let's give all of the ingredients their props.

In place of water I used soda pop.

How did it taste?  Add some frozen strawberries and whipped topping and  o-o-o-weee😁😁😊😋

It was delicious.  I cut the rest into squares, wrapped and put in the freezer.

That's How I Roll

 

I'd been wanting to try  decorating a roller shade using acrylic paint. The design would show only from the outside.  I consulted YouTube to watch several videos of a simple sunflower. One thing I did learn is that you can't mix the methods of different painters. I liked this one best by  DIY Crafty Creator

I wasn't expecting the calming glow from inside the bathroom, but I like it. And yet no one can see inside, even at night. ( I know because I tested it.😊)

Very pleased with the results.  

But, Wait There's More!

This is my back door.  I wanted a tree for this one. Consulted YouTube again. Settled on  Jay Lee Painting. Seems simple enough.

I am pleased with this result also.

I'll let you in on a secret. I couldn't get either shade to roll properly 😯but, I'll consult YouTube again and if that doesn't work out, I have another method in mind.  Still, I'm okay with the turn out.

JUNETEENTH

Degrees in the 70's with a cool breeze was perfect for this years Juneteenth Celebration. Opened by the Allstars  Band comprised of star band students from all over the state. A fantastic band, the students were multi-talented displaying dance steps and practiced moves that seemed second nature to them.

The Corvette Club took up the rear of the mini parade. Auto owners flaunted the special features of their "rides" as onlookers cheered and photographed or videotaped the show.

The talent and vendors  this year were not as large as in the past but still worth seeing.

This post has been a headache which I believe to be the blogger website. Slow downloads af pictures and constant halting while typing text. I've had the same thing happen with the typing on public computers. The cursor disappears.
