The Bracelet Challenge

Just to shake things up at our June Red Hat meeting, there was a Bracelet Challenge.

How many bracelets can you fit on one arm. Rubber bands and strings don't count.

Our lowest count was 16 and our highest count was 96.
Great meal and great fun. The winner was given a prize.

Toronto Canada

If you only want to see the pictures 19 pictures, 2 videos < 1 minute long.

My main intent was to be a part of a studio audience.  This is something I've always wanted to do. I watch Cityline here in Birmingham, Alabama on a regular basis. I enjoy the upbeat topics and interaction with the host and guests. I wrote for tickets and was given the date of August 7th. Fortunately, the studio was located 1/2 block from my hotel. Walking distance.

Arriving at the studio at 9:30 a.m. I showed ID (in this case , my passport) and my name was checked off of the list. We were then herded upstairs to a room, shown a video of the dos and don'ts then taken back downstairs and seated by the stage manager.

The show was about food. All three chefs had visited different places and came back with their version of the dish they enjoyed most.

My picture with Tracy Moore, host of Cityline. A very nice lady. When I told her I'd come all the way from Birmingham, for her show, she had me wait and she took another picture with me. Today I found out why. But, I'll keep that little diddy on the DL for right now.
