Rock Glue

I didn't believe it either when I was told about it.  I went to YouTube to find out what I could. After watching several videos and hearing favorable reviews, I decided to try it.
The product is a little pricey ($34/32oz.) but, I was lucky enough to have an Amazon gift card.

I'd also need a sprayer

(something else I'd never used)
I once again went to YouTube for instructions. After watching  an exhausting amount of videos I decided to try it.

Here's the problem .  Along the side of the house, grass had died and didn't grow back leaving a rocky  area that the yard man didn't want to weed with his weeder for fear that he'd break a window.  I was offered suggestions as to what I might do.

Glued pea gravel was my choice. It would match the pea gravel I have in the flower bed.
The glue needs 24-48 hours to cure. Fortunately, I was able to get 24 hours without rain. The next few days were periodic rainstorms and I was afraid things might not stick.

As you will see below everything is still in place. I'd count this as a success.

I'm waiting for lawn edging I ordered from Amazon to neaten up the edges.  (Yes, I waited until Prime Day before ordering.) According to users the glue lasted for about a year in low traffic areas. After a year they resprayed the area with the glue.

AMAZON?---Amazing or Awful?

It all depends

Since I'm not a big fan of shopping, Amazon has been a time saver for me. It's the modern way of catalog shopping. As a member of Amazon Prime I can order $25 or more in merchandise and shipment is paid. If the item isn't quite right, I can return it with shipment paid. BUT, make sure you read everything. Not all items are Prime approved.
Below are a few of the items I've ordered.

The sheets and cases are soft but, lack the large folded area at the top of the sheet so that I know what goes at the head.

  1. The cases also lack the folded area at the top. It only turns down on one side.
2. Only  1/2 inch turned down on all hems and seams. It lack a finishing seam. Awful

 The Sock Dock
I have lots of socks. To free up some real estate in my dresser I decided to store the socks another way. Rolling them was okay but there are some socks I rarely wear but don't want to throw away. I have plenty of room in my closet.
The Sock Dock comes with two hangers, one for clean socks and one for dirty. Once the dirty sock holder is full, the entire item can be placed in the washer and then the dryer. Since my washer rarely eats socks, I've decided to use both for clean socks.  However this would be ideal for children and disorganized people.
1.  Each Sock Dock holds 10 pairs of socks.
2. The Sock Dock hanging in my closet.
3. I decided to push the envelope  and hang two pairs of socks per rung. Amazing

Microwave Popcorn Popper
In a past post I showed how to pop corn in a paper bag in the microwave. I decided to be even more health conscious and try this silicone popcorn popper. While it works well in popping the corn, no seasonings or oils are allowed in the popper while popping. The result to me was plain Styrofoam tasting popcorn that is, if I was to ever eat Styrofoam. Adding melted butter and other seasonings didn't make it any better. Perhaps it was the brand of popcorn I used. If you use this have a beverage handy to wash down this dry concoction. Then pat yourself on the back for eating healthy. Awful

Food Storage Containers
Cooking is not something I enjoy doing on a regular basis. To save time, I'll often cook in batches, storing left overs in containers and freezing them. I have three containers I've had for over 18 years. They're sturdy and reusable but I don't remember where I bought them. I wanted to prepare more than three frozen meals so I ordered these.

They came in a pack of 10 and measured 8.5x7.5x1.9. Larger than I wanted but I was willing to give them a try.

1. I prepared to prewash the containers before using. It felt flimsy   and proved itself by splitting in two places in the seam.
2. I also noticed "DISHWASHER" was spelled "DISHWASER."
I returned them to Amazon.    Awful
If you can't find information about the company selling through Amazon you want to beware.
Shoe Rack with Three Shelves

This worked out perfectly for me. My nephew put it together and I was able to neatly contain the shoes I use on a regular basis in one place. This made them easier to see and  put them in an orderly fashion. Amazing
With Amazon Prime I get access to certain movies and TV shows which I can view through a streaming device. As with any business there are other items sponsored by Amazon that can be purchased for a fee that aren't included with Amazon Prime.

Prefab Houses was one thing I didn't think I'd see.

But, here's an example of one among many. This one has free shipping.
