Friends and I went down to Montgomery, Alabama during Black History Month. There are always numerous activities to engage in during February regarding the Black Experience.
Congresswoman Terri Sewell did a Town Hall meeting which we attended. Also, on the panel were Denise McNair's sister as well as students who were performing in a play also being performed on one of the other stages at the Shakespeare Theater.

Located inside was also the Chop Shop also known as a barbershop. When I went inside, no one was there but, it had an eclectic vibe to it. The Saints and Sinners pews in the waiting area were interesting.
It is now March 23rd and I'm just putting text to pictures. So, I'll only say, I enjoyed the day trip, my companions, but the excitement of telling you about each one below has flown the coop, I call my mind.
